I received my blue seaglass necklace this morning and it's just lovely! I love Maureen's beautiful, delicate jewellery. It's nice to own pieces that are truly unique. I also like that the necklace clasps are a decent size, so not too fiddly to fasten.

I grew up in North Shields, so my Strandline jewellery reminds me of happy childhood excursions to the beautiful beaches of Tynemouth and Cullercoats and, later, wintry walks along the beach with the dog, collecting shells!

My order arrived safely and attractively boxed and nothing was too much trouble in terms of adjusting the necklace and bail to ones I was happy with. I like the random nature of seaglass and have always liked the translucent nature of colour in glass. I have to admit they were smaller than I expected, but that's my fault for not paying more attention to the details! I did look at size details at the beginning, but then probably let my imagination take over at some point! I like the natural beauty of the glass and the fact that it's not ostentatious like a jewel might be, so feel comfortable to wear it as an everyday item.

The seaglass necklace I ordered arrived perfectly packaged the morning after the order was in. I had contacted Maureen as I was concerned it would arrive in time for my friends birthday the following week and with it being a Bank Holiday weekend and she was wonderful, ensuring it arrived in plenty of time. The gift box was a lovely finishing touch and the necklace itself was even prettier than in the pictures online. I wasn't sure if the pendant might look a bit bulky being 1 inch in length but it was actually very delicate looking. I found Maureen's website when I was searching the internet looking for a jeweller who could mount a stone I had found on Fleswick Bay. These necklaces are simple but each is very special. I received the necklace I ordered quickly and am more than satisfied. Nature has a way of making the mundane things of man into something more beautiful than we can imagine.
