Wow! What a find - a rare UV (ultraviolet) sea glass marble in a yellowish green which I have set in a handmade fine and sterling silver backless bezel, letting the light shine through and hung from a sterling silver curb chain.
•• UV (ultraviolet) also know as Vaseline Glass and Uranium Glass is produced using uranium-dioxide in the glass mixture making it glow a vivid neon green in the presence of ultraviolet light.
This fabulous piece of sea glass was collected on the beautiful Northumberland Coast of North East England.
The setting was hand-cut, forged and polished in my workshop.
